Cornwall's Bodmin Moor has miles upon miles of stunning wilderness and vast starry skies. Bandylegs cottage in Mount, Warleggan is a rural hideaway for those who like to get away from it all.

The cottage is a walkers paradise with the common moorland just up the road through the village. You may have to dodge the occasional Highland cow or moor pony on your travels.

Explore the celebrity chef's playground - Padstow, or choose a fantastic harbour view at the Lugger in Polruan. The Polruan ferry leaves from Fowey several times a day if you fancy a short trip across the river.

You could opt for tea under a starry sky at the cottage - barbeque, twinkly lights and chimnea are provided for you to enjoy balmy evenings.

Bandylegs cottage sleeps 4 in 2 Bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, the 2nd Bedroom has a double bed. There is a private allocated parking bay.

The cottage has all been refurbished. It dates back to c1780 and is one of the oldest cottages in the village. Everything has been sourced to be in keeping with the cottages character and maintains a traditional cosy feel.

The cottage is situated between both Cornish coasts, north and south.

You could head for Polkerris, the nearest beach and harbour - 10.5 miles away. Port Isaac and Padstow are an easy drive. Looe, Polperro and Fowey are on the opposite coast and worth a visit. Recent guests' comments have been that the cottage was perfectly situated for exploring all of Cornwall.

Bring your walking boots! -  There's so much to explore! We are lucky to have so many moorland and woodland walks all around us. Within 10 minutes of the cottage there's Cardinham Woods, a peaceful setting that's ideal for walkers and cyclists. We have welcomed several owl watchers to the cottage - bring your binoculars! 

Lanhydrock House & Gardens Just a few minutes away - visit this truly magnificent late Victorian country house, you can explore the woodland walks or amble around the formal gardens. You can take a walk along the river to Bodmin Parkway and watch the steam trains come and go into Bodmin Mount Folly station. 

The cottage is only 5 miles from the A30 or 3 miles to the A38...… you could be in the city of Truro in 35 minutes or beautiful Port Isaac (home to the Doc Martin series) in 30 mins.
